Joy Symonds is the Human Resource Manager of the Bermuda Housing Corporation. She was promoted to her position 8th January, 2007 after serving as Accounting Supervisor of the Finance Department. Joy was a civil servant for thirteen consecutive years, first at HM Customs and then the Accountant General’s Department where she worked in both the Salaries Department and the Debt Collection Section. Joy is on the Board of Directors for the Adult Education School and holds a BA Accounting Degree from Clark Atlanta University and an MBA from Webster University.
